Heima screening at Tower Theatre in Salt Lake City a success!

Tonight's screening of the Sigur Rós film Heima at the Tower Theatre was a huge success.

With well over 200 in attendance, the night went off very well. Everyone enjoyed the film and appreciated having the screening in Salt Lake City.

The film, as reviewed in previous posts, was amazing. We are so glad we had the opportunity to see and hear it on the big screen.

As stated in our introduction, a copy of the film was purchased with a portion of the proceeds from tonight's screening. This copy will be available for rent through Tower Theatre.

The remainder of the ticket sales will be donated to SavingIceland.org

Once again, a big thank you to Amy & the entire staff at Tower Theatre, Graywhale CD Exchange, Natalie Kuhl at XL Recordings, everyone who helped make the screening happen and, of course, Sigur Rós.

Lastly, a big thank you to everyone who attended and made the screening a success.

If you missed tonight's screening, all is not lost!

Get out and buy, or rent from Tower Theatre, the film and share it with someone!

Also, for those of you in Utah, mark June 9-14, 2008 on your calendar. We will be attempting to schedule a screening of Heima at the 2nd Annual Utah Family Film Festival.

Details to follow.
